All Souls service: Sunday 7 November
This Sunday we’re holding our annual All Souls service at St Paul’s. This is one of our most popular services, and it has a special place in the hearts of many people in our community, as well as some people who have moved away from Bow, but come back for it.
It’s a special service of remembrance, in which we remember loved ones who have passed away. There are readings and prayers, like in regular church services, but in this service, we remember people by name. Every name that’s given to us in advance will be read out in the service, to help us remember people specifically. Everyone present will also be given candles to light in remembrance.
The service is at 4pm on Sunday. There’s still time to send your loved ones’ names to us: please email hello@stpauloldford.com . If you want to come along in person, sign up at Eventbrite to help us manage the numbers of people in church. We’re still taking precautions for COVID, including social distancing and wearing masks in the building.
