Ash Wednesday

Lent begins on Wednesday 5 March. We have 2 Ash Wednesday services:

• 12.00pm: said service with ashing and communion
• 6:30pm: service with hymns, ashing and communion

(ashing is the Christian tradition of marking people’s foreheads with ash in the shape of a cross)

Prayer throughout Lent

This Lent, we’re focusing on prayer. There will be 2 main things that you can attend.

The Prayer Course

We’ll be running The Prayer Course twice a week. Once on Sundays after the service, and on Wednesday evening at 8pm.

Christian meditation

Following the success of our recent evening of Christian meditation with Rev Evonne Galloway from Poplar Church, we will be holding a 20 minute time of meditation from 7:30pm each Wednesday evening.
