Mike Zakiewicz: 31 January 1948 to 24 May 2023

We are very sad to announce  the death of our dear friend Mike Zakiewicz on 24 May 2023.

Mike was a a generous, kind and popular member of our church and community. He was our treasurer for many years until last year, and still played a vital part in the life and work of the church right up until he was taken into hospital.  He will be remembered with love and will be missed by everybody who came into contact with him.

We will post a longer tribute to Mike here shortly, but for now, the funeral arrangements are as follows. These were announced in church on Sunday, but are here now for anybody in the community or beyond who knew Mike and would like to come to some part of his funeral.

Memorial service

Wednesday 14 June at 1pm at St Paul Old Ford. For directions, see the About us tab.

Committal

Wednesday 14 June at 3pm at Manor Park Crematorium, Sebert Road, Forest Gate, E7 0NP.

Please note that capacity is very limited at the crematorium, so this is largely for family and close friends only.

Reception

Wednesday 14 June at 4pm at St Paul Old Ford.
