Second day of Lent: prayer and reading

Prayer 

Lord, we know there is evil in our world, whether it be the killing of innocent lives, the overpowering of freedoms, or in messages to provoke hatred against a person for whatever the reason.

Let your overpowering love and forgiveness  bring to an end of these evil acts and show that acts of peace and love bring the most joy.

Amen.
