Seventh day of Lent: prayer and reading

Prayer

Oh God of love, oh God of Calvary, as we go through Lent, let us be mindful about people around us. Help us to put others first in all that we do, especially at this challenging time. Bind us together with cord that cannot be broken.

We lift up to you the broken, the lonely, those who suffer from anxiety and depression, the homeless and those in prison. Wherever they are, we pray that you be with them. And for all those that are working with them, we pray for you to give them that inner strength and to know to lean on you all times.
