Sunday service 23 May: Pentecost

Join us in worship at our Sunday morning service on 23 May.

It’s Pentecost, which is 50 days since Easter Day and brings the Easter season to an end. At Pentecost, we remember how God’s Holy Spirit was given to the disciples after Jesus’ ascension, empowering them to begin the work of making disciples of all nations. You can read more about Pentecost at the Church of England website.

We’re open for worship in person, but we still need to limit numbers in the building. So you’ll need to book your place in advance at Eventbrite.

Update: we had some problems with our equipment at this service, so we were not able to broadcast it and the link below won’t work. Apologies to everyone who wanted to watch this service.

The readings for this Sunday are:

Acts 2: 1 to 21
John 15: 26 to 27 and 16: 4b to 15
