New Youth Worker Appointed
We are delighted to announce that Jessica Lawrence will become our new Youth Worker. Jessica will be starting in this role on the 1st September 2019 and we are looking forward to all God will do through her ministry.
Jessica said, “I am so excited about becoming the Youth Worker at St Paul Old Ford and can’t wait to get started.”
Rev. James said “Youth work is one of our four key missional strands and is very important to us. Jessica was the outstanding candidate from the interviews and all of us are looking forward to welcoming her and growing our youth ministry.”
Jessica was born and grew up in Bow and has just finished a degree in Youth Work and Theology at Oasis College, whilst being Youth Intern at St Paul’s. Our previous Youth Worker, Dan Hayward, returned to work as an electrician at the end of last month.
St Paul’s has been employing a full-time Youth Worker for the last nine years and supports the young people of the local community through a variety of projects, groups and programmes.
